Calligraphy & Prayer
Holland House stands in three acres of beautiful gardens alongside the River Avon and is situated in the beautiful Vale of Evesham, an area with a long history of market gardening including some of the best quality apples, plums, pears and, of course, the famous ‘grass’ (asparagus). Since 1946 it has been a Retreat House, offering opportunities for individual and group day and residential retreats as well as providing a place for a variety of groups to meet and share in discussion and other activities.
Modern and Traditional Calligraphy workshops in Hampshire. You don’t need any previous experience just come and have a go! Calligraphy is incredibly relaxing and absorbing. You’ll be writing words in no time and be able to apply your skill to cards, envelopes, place names and personalise all sorts of projects. Perhaps you’d like to start practising for a special event like a wedding or new baby. I’ll help you step by step. You’ll take away a workbook, pen holder, nib and pot of ink that you can use to continue your practice following the workshop. I’ll also show you how to use watercolour and gold paint with your nib for stunning effects. Book a place below.
